1. What is Yoga?

Nadia’s Taoist Tantric Yoga integrates breathwork, muscular contractions, and visualization to cultivate, circulate sexual energy throughout the body to raise Kundalini life force energy and channel it into healing, vitality, pleasure, and creative expression.

Because of her own life experiences, Nadia especially enjoys working with clients living with or recovering from anxiety, auto-immune disease, chronic or traumatic stress, fatigue, insomnia, and neck/shoulder/lower back pain.

Anyone wanting to move into their mystical healing space through body expression and movement. Nadia uses an invitational vice directive approach, offering a variety of options to promote empowerment through choice. Her intention is to move beyond “performing the poses correctly” by creating a safe space for self-exploration through sensations, emotions, energy, breath.

By listening to our own body’s needs and intuitive knowing, each of us can best honor our individual differences, needs, and wants while giving others the space to do the same.

2. Description

Her functional approach to Yin Yoga informs her offering of poses to release emotional blockages that cause pain and disharmony in the body. Given the importance of quality sleep and the growing epidemic of insomnia in today’s modern world, Nadia is passionate about mentoring students on building a home iRest Yoga Nidra to restore energy levels, integrate life lessons, and interrupt patterns of chronic stress to prevent burnout & fatigue. And from time to time, Nadia has been known to connect straight to the heart with her acoustic serenades during savasana.

3. Availability

In person or online private session or group classes (in person or online) through Woke Yoga.

Nadia is teaching the 6:15am Hatha Yoga class at Woke Mosman on Mon and Wed between 17th May and 3 July (except 19th June).

In-person client sessions are also available at the Woke Yoga studio on those days from 11:30am-5pm, as well as Sat/Sun 9am to 7pm.
